Hello and welcome to the Sleepy Bookshelf where we put down our worries from the day and

pick up a good book.

In our last episode we reached the final pages of the Time Machine.

This was a slightly different story than we usually tell on the Sleepy Bookshelf.

I'd love to know what you thought.

As usual we have created this episode as a brief recap of what happened at the end of

the story in case you fell asleep before we finished.

The Time Traveler got back to the white Sphinx, ready to use his crowbar to break into the

pedestal where he was sure his Time Machine had been kept.

However, when he arrived, he found the door wide open and his Time Machine stood there,

making Christine and knew as if it had been cleaned.

Feeling this could be a trap by the Moorlocks, he felt in his pocket for his remaining matches,

loose but still intact and the levers for the machine still in his possession.

He wandered in, inspected his machine, and sure enough the doors slammed shut, propelling

him into darkness.

He smuggly groped for his matches, but then panicked when he realized that without the

box which had been stolen in the woods, he had no means to strike them.
