All right, one more thing to do before 2025 is in the rear view mirror.

Hi, I'm Dave. Welcome to Walking as Fitness, a daily 10-minute podcast designed to provide you

with a little added motivation to get out the door, take the walk, and more importantly,

to keep going, to build consistency.

Today's time on a walk starts right after this.

I don't know if you'll be able to hear it in my voice,

but it is a lot colder today than it was yesterday or the last few days.

We had a cold front moved through yesterday afternoon. During the day,

the temperature was actually pretty mild. I think it was mid-60s. Might even have reached the upper 60s.

But about mid-morning, the winds picked up. At one point, my home office is in the front of our house and our front porch is on the other side of the window. And we have a small table on the front porch and we have three

Gnomes, Christmas gnomes. We have our Christmas decorations still up. Three Christmas gnomes that are sitting on this table. They're about two feet high and they're weighted so they can stand some wind. Anyhow, at one point I'm sitting in my office and I hear this, thump! I don't know if that's an exact representation of the sound,

but you get the idea.

And I look out the window, and instead of three gnomes,

there are now two on the table.

Couple of minutes later, another similar sound,

and now there's just one lone gnome on the table.

The other two were

splayed out on the front porch floor. I mercifully removed the one gnome still

standing and set him down on the floor and they rode out the wind off the

table. Anyhow this morning, temperatures are significantly colder than they were yesterday.

So here it is, final day of 2025.
