Nora McInerney is back, coincidentally, because she joined us on the

Dancing of the Stars episode as like a new fan a couple weeks ago. But she was already, like,

slated to come on this week because I've decided to make it a tradition that we poorly recap,

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, ever since we did so back in in May and an ep called Secret Lives of Catholic

wives that was yeah one of the fan favorites at the year and meaningful to me because I was in a

really tough place at the time and she like last minute dropped everything like drove to her studio

10 p.m. deliriously recorded with me late at night. And yeah, I'm just forever grateful for her

friendship and I know so many of you love to hear from her. And it's good, honestly, that we're checking in because of the whole macro-needling of it all from the crew pot episode. So I'll get to that in a bit. I actually think we do a better job today. We actually do talk about the show. We kind of mash up secret

lives with Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. I don't know what came over me, but I watched

all of Secret Lives and Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in roughly like a 36-hour period of

time. I ended up watching Housewives as a pallet cleanser because at first I was so bored of

secret lives. And then I came full circle and I really enjoyed both and like shocked but not also not because it is a rich

tarot for so many topics that layer and layer upon one another that will start with a level of

denial and preservation of image, but inevitably

chip away as people get older and they have families and things get more complicated. And,

you know, people take routine light detector tests at your nearest Marriott Bonvoy property

with a three-star restaurant in the lobby. Look, that was weird. Okay, can I just say I went back

on my phone to where the episode was? They were at a place called the Ad Faneer. I don't know what that is. But I just say I went back on my phone to where the episode was.
