Good afternoon, everybody welcome to an episode of Dropping the Clause. Thanks for joining me here. March 30th, 2000, 26. I hope everybody's having a good, is a good Monday, good week, gearing up for April. It's nice here in Michigan. I, gosh, we're going to the movies this afternoon. It's like 10 o'clock. I'm taping this right now, obviously, because we have a big night tonight. We had some pretty crazy stuff happened last night with the Vegas golden nights. We'll touch on that in a second, but my kids are, my kids are not happy with me. And I just, I just want to get this out of the way. Have you ever done something so incredibly just dumb and everybody's staring at you and you have no answer. You just have to suck it up and go,

my bad. Like I completely dropped the ball on this. Well, that happened to me yesterday. It was Sunday.

Palm Sunday, we had a nice mass at church. We went home. We kind of had a nice lunch.

And I promised the kids that week. I said, hey, if you guys have a good week, we'll go to the movie Sunday. There's a nice movie playing. It'll be great. We'll bring all the kids, eight kids, bring the wife, a whole, a whole thing. You know, spend some money, get some popcorn, get some pop. Who am I kidding? Who are you kidding? We were sneaking snacks into our backpacks and purses. But anyways, we get to the theater and we get to the little gate

where you buy your tickets and I go, hey, can I get 10 for David please? And the guy goes,

no, that ain't playing. And I just had a panic attack because I checked the whole week. I checked the day before

and I was I messed up and nothing worse than letting down your kids. And I had to turn around to

all of them and say, I'm sorry. I screwed up. There's no movie today. I don't know what

happened. I checked and I checked again, but something happened where I was just looking at the wrong theater. I still don't know what happened, but I had to

just do the walk of shame right out the door. We didn't even, like they wanted to see another movie.

I was like, no, we're not doing it. Luckily, it was playing today, which is Monday. So we'll go

and watch the movie at 1230 on a Monday afternoon. So it's just a bizarre time.

Yeah, it makes sense.

Right?

If I'm a movie theater, I won't have it at 4 p.m. on a Sunday, but I will have it at 1230 on a Monday. Like, what kind of people are able to see a movie at 1230 on a Monday, other than degenerates like me and just people without jobs? So anyways, going to try to make it up to them.

Hopefully they forgive me.
