This week we are talking about another misunderstood

classic, cult classic, a failure when it came out, but a hit in the year since the 1999 David

Fincher Fight Club. Is it his best movie, Amy? We'll get into it. But also, did people miss the point multiple times by it being a

flop and also what they got out of it when it was a cult hit?

Yeah, can we talk about it without saying that we think this movie is saying things that maybe it's actually not even saying?

Because this movie is saying a lot.

Oh, 100% I think what I really like about this movie is it has a giant twist and

Fincher isn't precious it's an earned twist. I really think that when you go back and rewatch it he is telling you multiple times

baldly and I think that that's what makes this movie's twist not feel hacky.

Yeah and it does that good thing or it doesn't end with the twist like ta-da here I am
