The difficulty with anything out of the late Francis pontificate is getting intelligent

discussion debate because the two sides want to just sort of take aim at each other and talk

from behind behind a not a paywall but a kind of veil of non-interlocution,

where you never have to deal with the arguments from the other side.

Well, the good part is I very much respect and have had on this show someone who is on this

finish introducing things, but I don't want to kind of give a caveat to my position just to make

sure that that's clear too. Yeah, awesome. Well, that's enough introduction. So I have not

actually looked at anything specific on your position.

So all I know is I want to do this in three segments today.

And I'm assuming that you're at least by a distinction of degree, not necessarily a distinction of kind, more on the, I don't know,

hermeneutic of continuity side of this thing, as you have been for the last year or 18 months

with all things Francis or most things, Francis.

Yeah, like with a big caveat here, though, because I want to just make very clear that

I don't really have a dog in the fight in a certain sense, in the sense that I have no

pro, I have no a priori commitment to the impossibility of this containing any kind of heresy in it.
