Hello. Tic-toc, tick-toc, tick-Toc, it's getting close to Deer Season.

Yeah, it is.

I have worked harder than ever this year on a dove field and I wrote down there yesterday,

I didn't see one bird.

That's not good.

I'm the worst dove farmer on the planet.

But anyway, you know, that's just kind of,

the dove thing's just kind of a social event anyway. Yeah. It's the opening day of

hunting season in the south. I don't know what day it opens where you live down here

it's always September the first or there about it's first Saturday and you know and I've worked hard I've tried and had a couple

of really good do shoots it's usually a bust on the doves and a big plus on the

barbecue so it's really all about the food and stuff but anyway that's just the

prelude to the opening day of bow season which is uh that used to be the coolest and the biggest thing ever for me.

It's not quite as big a deal for me now at my age but I don't know what I've missed

many of them. You know I hadn't missed a lot, but that opening day of both seasons,

I always felt like if you didn't go,

you were sending a message to the hunting guys

...
