0:55.9	this week as we consider fever, infections, and medicine. And it's a good time to cover these
1:02.1	topics because we are getting knee-deep into the winter viral season with lots of infections.
1:09.6	Most of them caused by viruses, including the cold virus that I have
1:13.5	right now. My voice maybe a little rough this episode, but, you know, happens every winter,
1:18.9	and it's just one of those things. When you're a pediatrician and you are around sick kids day in
1:23.9	and day out, you know, you get sick yourself. And so it just goes along with the job.
1:29.2	So please bear with me as I battle my own virus.
1:32.3	I will say this, though, we've not really seen much of the flu yet.
1:36.5	And things can get really ugly when flu comes to town, which is why we recommend your entire family, gets a flu vaccine to protect yourself each and every year from this potentially deadly illness.
1:48.7	And no, it is not too late to get one.
1:52.0	You just don't know what you're going to get with each flu year.
