| 1:09.2 | categories. Broadcast spreaders are also known as Rotary spreaders and they are by far the most common type of spreader. |
| 1:16.0 | They are really good for large areas because a typical broadcast spreader will spray about three or four feet from the actual device. |

| 1:27.6 | The way that they work is there's a hopper at the top that feeds the material to a spinning disk and on that disk there were fins that will take clumps of it and throw it out into the yard. |

| 1:49.0 | And the lower end ones are typically made out of plastic and higher end ones are typically made out of stainless steel. |
