I know we're always saying certain films have been highly requested by our listeners, but no joke - Ferris Bueller's Day Off has absolutely been one of the most requested titles since day one. And it's pretty easy to see why. So many of us have an affinity for John Hughes movies and this is widely regarded as one of his best. In this instance, it doesn't even seem necessary to ask whether or not this one holds up. The better question is probably why.
Topics include: the Fight Club theory, the only other actor seriously considered for the role of Ferris, what changes if you remove Sloane from the film (spoilers: not much), our proven methods for faking an illness, some disagreements over whether or not Ferris gets to take credit for Cameron's transformation, the TV series based on the movie, and much much more!
