Hey, it's Sam with a quick little show announcement. As you may know, I've been running my hour

trying to, you know, really figure it out. And so I've been doing it in New York and L.A.

And all those dates have sold out. So I've decided to add one more New York date and one more L.A.

date. So in New York, I'll be at Union Hall on May 3rd. That's a Sunday.

And then in L.A., I will be at Lyric Hyperion on May 14th. That's a Thursday. So I would simply

love to see you there. I've been really having a good time doing this. And I appreciate you guys

coming out and make me not look like a fucking idiot.

Podcast starts now. Wow, wow, wow. We are coming at you from New York City once again.

I feel absolutely amazing. George, how are you? I'm realizing I'm sitting in a different chair

than I usually, like I'm sitting on the right and you're sitting on the left. And it's sort of like when a couple decides to mix things up by switching places on the bed. Wow, a role playing. I'm not used to turning to my left to see you. Really? Yeah. Yeah, I don't like it. That's interesting. Are you feeling more powerful? I'm feeling like I don't believe you. Really? Yeah, there's a part of me that's like, do I not sit here always? And you're right, of course. Thank you. But I personally, internally don't believe you. I think, so there's one chair where you're sitting that has table space for your drinks, and my chair doesn't.

And I'm actually, I don't know if you can tell, my drinks are in my kind of nestled in my crotch

because I have nowhere to put them. And I think that is already putting me in kind of the

inferior position. And you're right. And I'm already making myself small and kind of, you know,

I'm kind of like, okay, like you can take charge today. Oh, wow. Daddy. Well, you know, I'm kind of like, okay, like, you can take charge today. Oh, wow. Daddy. Well, you know, when I sit in that, see, I do put the drinks on the floor and I do reach for them. And it does work. It's not as easy, but. Okay. Cool. Thanks from a hot tip. You know, you've had a blessed life so far. So how was your show last night? Absolutely to die for. I was getting distracted by the lights. Yeah. And there were points when I was like, wait, what am I doing? But other than that, I had a great time. So you're on stage. You're in the middle of your hour. Everyone's loving it. And you have the realization, do I really want to be here? I have the realization, that lights too bright. Yeah. And I'm like, wait, that lights too bright. I'm like, can we pause? And it's like, wait, no, stop it. Well, you actually can. What is your relationship to like breaking the fourth wall vis-a-vis talking to the venue? I think it's okay in the first 10 minutes.

Yeah.

Oh, see, I think, like, in the middle of the show to be, like, to be doing crowd work,

maybe it's not going well, and to be like, turn on the house lights.

I think that's fun.
