Welcome back, ladies, to another podcast episode. I know it has been so long, but I felt led to do a series that I want to start right now today. And I want to do this every single Friday. So I am dedicating this series to something that I want to call hashtag feminine Fridays. Okay. Let's hashtag feminine Fridays. So let's go ahead and

jump right in. This series will be called that girl. So what does it mean to be that girl? Well, it means a

lot of things. But simply put, to me, becoming that girl is recognizing who and whose you are.

It's recognizing who you are as the daughter of the king.

It's recognizing the greatness that God has already put on the inside of you.

No matter what you've gone through, no matter what your pain looks like, no matter what your past looks like,

it's you understanding that

God has a great future for you. So I have been seeing something reoccurring on social media,

on YouTube, and things like that. And one of the things that I have been seeing a lot,

I have been seeing a lot of our commencement speeches. Commencement. And so I've seen it from

Denzel Washington, from Oprah, from, I mean, you can name so many people. We love watching

graduation commencement speeches. And why is that? Because commencements usually deal with

the ending of one season and the beginning of another one.

Commencement usually deals with uplifting, motivational, inspiring speeches, mixed with wisdom, and perspective of the future.

And so we enjoy hearing about not only the accomplishments that we've made,

but what's coming in the future.

And as I was thinking about what I wanted to talk about with this first Feminine Friday series,

the word commencement came to me.

And I believe that it's very prophetic of you closing one season

and entering a new season. So one of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 29 and 18 and it's very simple.

It talks about where there's no vision that people perish.

Well, that word vision actually translates to prophetic perspective.
