So this is the one time where if you need to use your phone for your Bible, that's totally

fine. Just stay off text and all that other kind of stuff.

We're going to be in Philippians chapter 2, and we've got a lot of ground to cover. But one of the things I've been thinking about the book of Philippians, we talked about this a couple of months ago, just as elders and so far executive staff, were talking about coming on Philippians. And I was like, man, I really feel like this book of Philippians has come at a crucial time in the life of our fellowship together.

And if you guys heard us, you know, the past two weeks, especially in Chapter 1, we've talked

a lot about fellowship.

Fellowship is a consistent word Paul uses to address in the church, and we define that

in the first couple of weeks, that the word fellowship

is the word quantinia. It means me is never separated from we, that God is always reaching a person

and a people, that God is always forming a person and a people. So the first half of our text

this morning, Paul is talking about the posture and the practice of the quantania.

Paul's going to say, this is what a community of faith looks like, both at the belief level and at the behavior level.

That when the gospel lands on a person and a people, this is what they look like and this is how they live in the world.

And then after that, he's the second half of the text.

He's going to draw our attention to the ultimate example of Jesus and shows what the power is behind those people living in this way. And there's something that really stood out to me when I was considering this text in our church. And one of the reasons I believe the Lord has, TBC in Philippians, in this season season are because of the just massive amount of similarities

that I would see between this church and us. I've said it to multiple of our elders. I was like,
