There has always been a battle between light and darkness.

It is vital that God's people recognize their place in this conflict

as we open God's word and prepare for the front lines. Are you in the battle today? Well, I want to tell

you, you're not in this alone.

Over the last several weeks, we've been talking about the spiritual warfare of the good soldier of Jesus Christ,

and we've looked at our captain, the Lord Jesus, we've looked at our enemy,

we've looked at the armor, we've looked at the spiritual attacks that will come,

and the power that we have in the power of the Holy Spirit.

But I want to conclude our study today with a little different emphasis.

An emphasis found twice in the New Testament, and it is found in this term fellow soldiers.

Ask anyone who has served in the military, they will tell you that one of the greatest secrets to confidence and to victory is that you have to trust the person who's

next to you in the battle oh your brother's in arms your life is in their hands and

you're looking out for their best interest there's a sense of mutual

submission and mutual care and mutual sacrifice. Well, this same

truth is found for a good soldier of Jesus Christ in the army of the Lord. You see, we all need one

another and we all need the Lord. This expression, fellow soldiers, is found in two different books. It's found in the

little book of Philemon. Philemon is an amazing book. I wish you had time to study it with you today,

but Philemon begins this way. Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ and Timothy our brother, and to

Philemon, our dearly beloved and fellow laborer, and to our beloved Athea and Archipus, our fellow soldier,
