My name is James Acaster, and in 2017, I had a breakdown. I dealt with that breakdown by buying as much music from 2016 as I possibly could.

As a result, I now own over 600 albums that came out in 2016 and I'm convinced it is the greatest year for music of all time.

But it's not enough for me being convinced.

I also want to convince each and every single one of you, plus a guest every week.

I'm going to send them an album in advance.

They're going to come on the show and we're going to talk about that album.

This week, my guest is Felicity Ward, and I've sent her not good at spending time alone, aka Cleanliness by Market.

Market is the project of Nate Mendelson.

He is a musician based in New York.

He was trained as a jazz saxophonist and was doing this indie project on the side.

It very quickly became something that he had to finish.

The album is about how he has to see projects through to the end a lot of the time.

He can't just leave stuff just hang in there.

And also he pretty much has to turn most things into a project as well.

This wasn't any better break up. as well.

Every now and again, I fall in love with an indie rock album, and nothing feels quite like it.

I think it's because it's the music I was bought up on.
