Here we go.

This is Felger and Mass.

0:03.9

Yeah, Rex Ryan here. I hate guests. Yep, yep, yep, yep. There's no reason to touch him. Keep it in your pants. Why would you do, though? Felger and Mass, 985. The Sports Hub. It wasn't all good. In fact, none of it was good, including Grankowski's performance on Saturday at Gillette. Might have been the worst of the lot. which has us wondering how much longer he's here.

0:23.1

Which would really be, that would be a real crap sandwich. That's a special player. That's a special player. And, again, I don't like making predictions, so please don't roll tape. But if they lost Grankowski, wouldn't it be apt to sort of say that's it? Yeah. They're done? Close, right? I mean, I fear they might be there already, but yeah. I mean, without Gronk, what do you do? I mean, unless they draft the next Gronk. They're a different team. Good luck with that. There's never been another gronk. Well, I'm not going to draft another gronk.

0:55.4

I know the counter to that is they won a Super Bowl without him.

0:57.8

But, I mean, come on.

0:58.9

Get through this season without him.

1:00.4

How happy is Brady going to be? You know, is he even going to be somewhat a little bit checked out? if any i mean i still think he could walk if gronk is not here and he's traded i know you think i'm

1:07.9

nuts for thinking so so yeah i think they it would be big problems if he was gone so that's good

1:12.8

give me a fascinating week for the Patriots. To me, the most fascinating thing tonight is how Tuka Rask responds and Bruce Cassidy's approach with Tuka Rass. Not only was Tukorass bad on Saturday, we all know he was bad, he knows he was bad, but the coach hasn't done him any favors or hasn't done anything to protect him.

1:44.2

He's done nothing to protect him. He yanked him in the middle of the game on a goal that he had nothing to do. I mean, that Van Riems-Dike goal, that fourth goal, please. Who's stopping that? I mean, okay, so he pulls him in the middle of the game in front of the world to see. and then after the game pretty much

1:45.6

he didn't blame every goal on him

1:47.6

but whenever So he pulls him in the middle of the game in front of the world to see. And then after the game, pretty much he didn't blame every goal on him. But whenever Cassie was describing any goal, he made sure to say we could have used a save on that. Like, for example, I'll give you one example. I mean, didn't he sound a lot like you last week? Yes. But this is my point that typically the coach protects the player. Typically the coach doesn't sound like you. He doesn't sound like a talk show host, right? Exactly. Right. But when it comes to Rass, Cassidy has not been afraid. He's gone right at him. Even when he doesn't have to. The third Toronto goal the other night, Tyler Bozac, in alone. Marshan loses him all the way down the ice and Bozac's in alone.

2:18.7

And Cassidy could have easily said, we lost him on this, our defense let us down, we got

2:23.9

to get back, we just go up here and this is on the team.

2:27.3

Instead, he goes right at the goalie.

2:30.2

The Bozac goal, we got beat up the ice after long ozone shift, which is dangerous. And, you know, that's the one you really need to save right there. You've got yourself back in the game that the first period's almost forgotten about. It's now two to one. So that's one we needed. We were a little late trying to kill that rush, you know, in three different spots, and they capitalized. Okay, but again, he makes sure to point out we could have used to save there.

3:08.6

That goal was a killer. That goal was a killer. Was it Rask's fault? Well, see, I have three different breakdowns up the ice. Okay, but I don't think Rass played it well. Me neither. And look, you know, I'm just, I'm trying to accentuate the fact that what Cassidy has done. I mean, ultimately, I think I like that he's just telling it like it is, and he's being hard on Rask, and he's getting his attention, and he's sending him messages, and so good. Good. I think Rask could use that. Good. I'm in favor of it. I mean, I guess it sounds like I was criticizing it before. I'm a little nervous about it because I do not think Rask mentally is the toughest guy there is. And how's he going to respond? And I think Cassie was really hard on him the other night. And you risk sending him deeper into the abyss by being hard on him, don't you? But then again... No, I think this year is proven.

3:42.1

Claude Julian went easy on him, and that never worked either, so get his attention. I think this year is proven. Cassidy's been proven right, and when he's gone hard at him. He benched his ass back in November. Then you got the best play out of him, pretty much going forward. So this is why I think Rask and the team's going to bounce back tonight.

3:56.0

They're going to win because Cassidy has pushed the right buttons all season long with this team.

4:00.1

And so screw it.

4:01.2

I'll just put faith in the fact that that's the kind of year it's been, and that's what's going to happen. He's gone after Rask, and Raskin the team is going to respond. Okay. There it is. That's maybe I'm just wishing that to have because I I I can't
