Can you pick a take and stay with it for a full season?

I mean, we've been listening to you all year, talk about how, you know, Cassidy has been, you know, a breath of fresh air compared to

the dingle bat that was the coach prior, you know, holding his players accountable,

even the veterans for their bad play.

Now all of a sudden in the playoffs, after the dud that Tuka put up the other night,

you're saying that he should change his way and all of a sudden

start defending him because he's fragile?

No, when did I say that?

That was your take earlier. No, no, wasn't it? I don't really, I don't know if he should be really doing it like that. You know, Tuka, you know, they could have softened the blow a little bit. I mean, do you listen to what you say? I mean, Duke is a man, he's getting paid $7.2 million a year to perform a job, and he didn't do that job well Saturday.

So I'm pretty sure that he can, you know, handle accepting his part of the blame from his boss, which would be Cassidy. Well, I hope you're right. Yeah, I didn't criticize Cassie for it. I just pointed it out. I found it striking. I found it really noticeable that Cassidy really went out of his way to call out Rask. And I'm telling you it's the wrong thing to do. I'm telling you it's a little risky. I think it's a little risky. And I think that if Rask goes in the other direction, I think you can go back and say was Cassidy too hard on him. I'm just trying to be fair. I don't think there's many coaches that would have been that direct about the goaltending in that situation, but Cassidy was. So I pointed it out. We'll see which way it goes. Don't be so sensitive. I don't have a problem with the way Cassidy did it. Because again, you yourself said Julian took a more conservative approach with Tuka, right? He was softer with him. Egg shells, yeah. And how did that work? Not always very well. So I just think it feels to me like Tuka's the kind of guy that just mentally shuts it off every now and then. And so maybe the way to get him dialed in is to get on his ass. You know what? Most people respond to pressure with focus.

So let's say it.

I mean, goalies are weird, you know?

You got to, some of them you got to lay off. Some you can't say a word about. Some need a kick in the ass. Like, it's a psychological game. And I just think Cassidy's playing it. That's all. I just think Cassidy's playing it. For him to, especially that Bozak goal, that third goal where he's in all alone,

and Bozac beats the entire team goal, where he's in all alone,

and Bozac beats the entire team back up the ice.

And you could have blamed a bunch of different things on that. And instead Cassie says, that's a save we've got to have. He goes right at the goalie. Not many coaches would have done that. I'm not telling you it's the wrong thing, Adam. I'm just telling you that it's different.
