Hey, how you doing? What are you doing? Hey, how you doing? Is Felger and Matt? What? On 985. Unbelievable. The Sports Hub. Hey guys, thanks to take my call again. So I find it really honestly hard to believe that Belichick's going to pay a guy over $3 million to sit back there and not field any kicks at all. This is a guy that I saw back playing for the Vikings. I don't know when he first came in the league. He put up, you know, well over 400 yards to see, you know, some of his big seasons. Yeah, his touchdown numbers haven't been great, but, I mean, honestly, if Brandon Cooks is on his way out the door, or if they keep him and Brandon Cooks turns into a puddle, some games going to the main coverage, I think this is a guy that maybe they put out there where Brady can actually throw that ball deep. Okay, but the first thing you said is why I hate it. $3 million for kick returner. 3.25. That's his number if he makes a week one roster guaranteed because he's a vested veteran. If you're on the week one roster, your money's guaranteed.

3.25.

0:57.1

For a great kick return.

0:58.5

Great.

0:58.8

Best kick returner in the league.

1:00.7

And the best kick returner in NFL history next to Gail Sears, he's the second

1:04.9

highest kick return average in NFL history next to Gail Sears.

1:08.7

He had 19 returns last year.

1:11.5

19.

1:13.2

When you faced him, when the Patriots faced him, they kicked it out of the end zone six times.

1:16.2

He didn't touch the ball once on kick returns.

1:19.3

So what?

1:19.8

3.25 for that?

1:22.9

Cordell Patterson's kick returns by year.

1:25.5

Tell me if you sense a trend.

1:27.1

43, 34, 32, 25, 19. Do you sense a downward trend? They went down every year. Do you sense the league saying, oh, he's actually pretty good. We'll just kick it out of the end zone. So what's the... The only way I like this trade is if they cut him and sign them for 900,000, the veteran minimum.

1:49.7

That's what your kick returner should make in this day and age, should be some kid who flies like the wind, who costs you 900,000 against the cap or your budget or whatever, and that's it.

1:56.5

I'm not paying a guy 3.25 for that. You've got to be nuts. I think this guy sucks if you ask me.

2:01.1

Seriously.

2:02.0

This guy, the caller talked about 400 yards receiving. Like, it's a big number. Who gives a rat's ass for crying out loud? I do start to wonder, though, like, I don't know, is there any chance to change in the offense? Like, they're going to go with two-speed guys because they're worried about the interior with Cronkin Edelman?

2:17.0

I don't know.
