Well, hello there. My name is Morgan Harper-Nichols. I'm an artist and a writer, and this is a space where I share poetry and prose that I hope can make a little room for you to slow down just for a moment and take a few deep breaths as you prepare for whatever lies ahead.

Maybe the feeling of nothing is happening here

is actually a blank canvas, an invitation to explore the possibility of what could be.

Maybe the feeling of being lost in a new empty space is an invitation to a new beginning.

Maybe the feeling that you don't know where you're headed is an invitation to a new beginning. Maybe the feeling that you don't know where you're headed

is an invitation to be the one to finally carve a new path.

It is absolutely normal to feel a little lost and directionless at times.

how are you willing to dare to try something new, even without knowing what the outcome will be.

Perhaps all that feels scattered and unorganized can lead to a new day of seeing things.

Perhaps even here there is room for something new to come to life.

And this something new doesn't have to be your next big idea.

It doesn't have to make the people around you say, wow, in order for it to matter.
