Francis Rose, the host of FedGov today is here to introduce us to Soft Week, and it goes bang.

Francis, a very good evening to you.

What is Soft Week in Tampa, Florida?

You've just returned.

Clearly you were not tattered too much.

What happened?

Good evening, John. Thanks for having me on the program. Softweek is an opportunity for special

operations forces, in this case from around the world, to gather and learn from each other to

exchange capabilities demonstrations and to generally work on the issues that each

of those special operations forces finds most relevant to its existence

at the point in time at which the conference takes place happens every May in Tampa as you mentioned

because that is the location of the United States Special Operations

Command closed to Tampa and so the Tampa Convention Center welcomes really some of the most incredible

displays of technology and military capability that I've seen in my 20 some

years of following the federal government and almost 40 years in broadcast John.

You had a very nice set for FedGov today and you interviewed your guests and you were surrounded by black walls.

So basically you were there to not see anything.

Is that correct, Francis?

Well, it did.

So the Special Operations Command and the Special Operations Community, as you rightly allude to jokingly, is very quiet, is very hush-hush, is very behind the scenes.
