Let me bring in Michael Dardin now, as I said, Chief Economist at MK Partners.

And let's start with that interview in the Wall Street

Journal. There have been a series of these he spoke to Fox Business.

Yesterday there was sort of an extended interview with the Financial Times a week ago as well.

To me this one had the greatest deal of substance especially when it comes to the

relationship with China and foreign exchange let's start with with the dollar and

what he declared in that interview Michael as somebody who's an investor and

economist what did you make what he had to say?

Well right well that was unusual it's unusual for a president to to weigh in on the

foreign exchange value of the dollar typically the Treasury does that and ultimately the Federal Reserve is the one that

has the influence there.
