We were just thinking about the Grammys. I didn't watch it, but I, and God bless all the people. Truly, God bless all the people. Truly, God bless his heart thing. Like when you're dismissing people. Like, truly, God bless everybody involved with it.

But it does point out something.

I just opened up a news browser and I saw an outfit that a person was wearing who's been

world famous, top tier A-list world famous for decades.

And the outfit was a screaming cry for attention.

Yes. It could not have been anything cry for attention. Yes.

It could not have been anything else.

Right.

Just a desperate cry for attention.

So what does that tell us about human nature and craving for attention in your own life?

It tells me there's no finish line.

There is no point if you think that being famous or getting attention from people whether it's internet famous or just you know big time famous like this a lister will make you happy you're it's there's no evidence to suggest that in fact you're left with thinking somehow i got to get more and then you'll start to lose it and you'll think I got to get it back. I've got to shock people again or do something. It becomes despair, right? It is despair. And it always works out as a tragedy. Always. And fame messes people up. All this to say, a lot of people honestly, you are listening right now. and maybe you honestly think there's some point at which you'll be respected or you'll be valued by the culture, and then you'll be like, yeah, I made it. And I'm telling you, you will not be like, yeah. You'll be like, this isn't enough. And it never will be. This is weird to talk about because a lot of people don't get it. And I understand that. But the Super Bowl, when you win it, I've heard another guy say this yesterday.

He was on a team that won two in a row, the Denver Broncos.

He said both times it felt like relief, but it wasn't as thrilling as it is hurtful when you lose.

Not just the Super Bowl.

It's like when your season's over, that really hurts.

The Super Bowl is great, but it's not nearly as intense as the loss.

Yeah, I heard people talk about that because they say the buildup to it, the media day, all of that.

It's these two teams, these two teams, these two teams.

When you lose, they just usher you right off. You're going. You're going. People could care less about you. But it's so interesting because a lot of people think that's the top of the mountain and guys get there and it's just like, well, there's a sense of relief. And immediately the questions are, what are you going to do next year? you're going to be able to re-sign Russell Wilson oh you know when they won last year whatever it's the same thing
