Hey, welcome to our podcast. It's a little bit different. We just had a few conversations with some listeners about 50 Shades of Gray because, and this is going to be so strange to some people if you're just used to the way Christian radio does things.

0:22.3

We're on a lot of Christian radio stations.

0:25.4

Normally, you wouldn't talk about this on the air, and we won't either.

0:30.1

Normally, you wouldn't talk about it at all.

0:32.0

You pretend like it's not happening.

0:34.1

And if you do talk about it, typically what would happen is you'd talk about it if you

0:37.7

had like a Christian talk show maybe. And then you would feel compelled to critique and condemn

0:45.1

the subject matter without addressing the fact that it's wildly popular and there has to be a

reason. Right. And the reason you would do that for a couple reasons, but the biggest one is it's easy and Sherry could do this, I could do this. Which, by the way, I did talk radio for a while. That is the easiest thing in the world to do for everybody who calls in, too. Yes, it is. Our culture, our society, our this, our that, okay, fair enough, there's cultural pollution

in the air, and people breathe it in.

1:33.9

And just like people who have asthma don't want particulate matter from people burning

1:39.4

leaves in a town.

1:40.4

It doesn't affect everybody, but there's some people it does affect.

1:43.7

I think about that with

1:45.4

the way we produce our culture. Well, it never, it didn't bother me. Well, maybe it didn't. But there's

1:50.3

some people who aren't like you, and they breathe it and it does affect them in a different way.

1:55.1

So what we produce culturally does matter. But why would people choose to breathe certain things in?

2:03.9

A lot of people.

2:05.5

A lot of people.

2:06.4

And clearly this is hitting a chord.

2:08.9

One reason that people will give, and we'll talk about this in a little bit,
