In case you listeners are wondering why my voice is slightly altered from usual.

I'm not trying to do bad impressions of someone, except someone getting over a cold.

I think I got that one right. I think I cemented that one right.

But let me tell you a really weird story here.

And you'll figure I must have done something stupid, which is probably true.

As many of our listeners

know, I wear contact lenses. Mostly during the day and at night I wear the regular eye glasses.

Well, just very recently, a couple of days ago, I started developing an eye infection in my right

eye, and I took an antibiotic for it and then I started I found

an irritation in my eye on the side and I splashed water into it I had an inspiration I

splashed water on I found four contact lenses that had fallen off to the side of my eye. I barely noticed

them and they all snuck together. And as soon as the water loosened them up, I was able,

they covered the pupil and I was able to pull them out. Doesn't that sound grisly? Randall?

Yeah, thanks for that, Gene. I'm really glad that we're all now aware of that.

But yeah, no, I've heard of that happening. My former life partner, Patricia, had contacts

and would have the same thing happen once in a while, and she'd need me to check it out and make sure that there wasn't something stuck in there.

So, yeah, it's probably fairly common with you contact users.

In this particular case, I just didn't notice it.

I thought I lost the lenses.
