voterama they kicked off yesterday.

The all-night voting session on some 700 amendments to the budget resolution included Kamala Harris' first official vote in the VP's new role as Senate tiebreaker.

as soon as today. Remember, that's the first step Dems need to take to pass their relief package

without bipartisan support. Now, I too needed a lot of

coffee this morning after reading this very real quote from Marjorie Taylor Green. On the House floor

yesterday, she said school shootings are absolutely real. I also want to tell you, 9-11 absolutely

happened. The freshman rep was stripped of both her committee seats yesterday and an extraordinary

move with 11 Republicans joining all House Dems and voting to remove her. That was over a series of

racist comments and her support for a buffet of conspiracy theories, including QAnon. But the QAnon

drama is far from over for the GOP. California Democrat Jimmy Gomez says he still

plans to force a vote to toss green out of Congress entirely. Now that's a step way too far for

Democratic leaders who are nervous about the precedent that could set. Already Republicans,

including Kevin McCarthy, are vowing payback for the House vote whenever the GOP is next in the majority. And McCarthy, of course, is hoping that moment comes soon.

A first-in playbook, the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus will call on House Democratic leaders today

to allow a stand-alone vote on $160 billion for vaccine distribution.
