last night's state of the union was everything you love about Donald Trump. He said nothing of

impeachment, bragged about the country, awarded the ailing rush Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom,

gave a child a college scholarship reunited a soldier with

his family, all in front of a live television audience of millions and millions of people

nine months before Election Day. If you looked at House Democrats, they were wearing white

clothes, but it seemed as if they were white in the face. The color drained it from shock and disgust.

They went slack-jawed. They jeered. They booed. They hissed. And they screamed no.

They tried to chant him down. Speaker Nancy Pelosi ripped up her copy of the address,

an unplanned show of disgust. At the beginning of the speech, Trump declined to shake her hand.

Her caucus filed out as soon as he was done speaking, and some left even during the address.

It was every reason why Democrats can hardly stand to be in the same room as the man. There was no

you-line moment. The Democrats' behavior in the House chamber where we had a seat was a rolling

manifestation of the disgust they feel toward this president. It's too hard to list in detail

the moments Democrats were seemingly repulsed by,

but here's a small list that Democrats sneered at. Trump sought to take credit for the booming economy,

said he rehabbed inner cities, said he turned around when he termed to be a sluggish economy under

Barack Obama, said it was he who reworked trade deal, said he restored the American dominance

on the global stage. When Trump talked about drug pricing,

Democrats stood up and chanted HR3, their own drug pricing reform. When Trump paid tribute to Rush Limbaugh,

who was sitting next to the First Lady, Democrats seemed almost in disbelief. The most stunning
