And I'm Anna Palmer. Wait, you need to tell us that you have trouble certifying the results of an election that's conducted by people shoving into different corners of a gym? Who would have thought?

Here's the AP headline as of 357 a.m. this morning.

Dems lay a big caucus egg. No results from Iowa election. The AP is reporting that technology

problems and reporting inconsistencies kept Iowa Democratic Party officials from releasing the

caucus results. Washington Post reports that local officials were aware of problems with the app

since last Thursday and that a staffer was unable to solve the problems.

The results are supposed to come out at some point today.

Natasha Correcty, David Siders, and Alex Thompson write,

The fiasco means the end of the caucuses as a significant American political event.

The Post reports that the numbers being collected by the media suggest the eventual winner

would receive a lower percentage of the vote than any since 1972. Pete Buttigieg declared

victory and said he was headed to New Hampshire victorious. Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that the top two officials overseeing the Milwaukee Host Committee

were sidelined Monday over allegations of a toxic or culture.

The board is investigating concerns over at Liz Gilbert, the president of the DNC Host Committee,

and Adam Alonzo, Chief of Staff for the group.

Gilbert is said to be out of the office and not to have direct contact with staff,

while Alonzo has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the probe.
