You know, David, my friend, a few years ago, I read an article somewhere.

I don't remember where and people are going to flay me online because of this, but I'm going to say it anyway.

They said the reason that Rush Limbaugh became a conservative talk show host is because after starting in radio and not doing very well at it,

in the various mediums that he tried in radio,

he decided to approach political commentary from the conservative point of view.

This is not to say that he isn't sincere about what he says, but again he also looked at the fact that this was a place where he could make a living.

And so I wonder some of those talk show hosts

out there that claim to be interested in the paranormal simply do it because that's where the

bread is buttered and for no other reason. And outside of the show, they really don't know an

awful lot about the subject. And sometimes within the show, they don't seem to know an awful lot about it.

Why would they do it though? I mean is there that kind of money in the field?

Where is it?

Well, I guess if you're on coast to coast a.m., you'll make a decent amount of money,

but I don't think any of the other paranormal talk show hosts are getting anything more than any other radio announcer is.

And that's not a lot of money.

Well, it requires effort, I suppose.

That's the thing.

Well, now beyond effort, you have to be genuinely interested in this stuff.

Otherwise, why would you even want to talk about it?

Because it's weird.
