Hey, they're back. What's back? UFOs. They never left. Of course not. But as far as the public is concerned, they are back because we're hearing of more and more sightings.

Not just, of course, O'Hara Airport in Chicago, but Arkansas, in northern Arizona.

Some interesting cases, and now more and more we're hearing about these reports,

whereas a year ago it was just a rare thing.

What we're talking about is the typical situation where in the United States, there is an over-emphasis on national affairs, and we've seen what appears to be a flap in UFO activity in the United States in the past maybe six months.

But UFO activity around the world, gene, has been pretty active for a while now.

Of course, but here in the States, we don't hear much about it.

Well, does that mean it doesn't happen?

Absolutely not. And I kind of suspect that the amount of actual sightings hasn't changed

all that much. If you look, for example, at the National UFO Reporting Center, Peter

Davenport's

site, the number of UFO reports appears to be fairly consistent. So this is not a flap, per se,

where we have a flurry of sightings, but a publicity flap, which is what we've probably had

all along. Every time we have this surge in UFO reports, it's not so much that the sightings have increased,

but the attention has increased. And there's the distinction. Sure, I think that's an important

distinction to make, though. And I think that some of the increase in the sightings is a bit odd.

We look at the fact that in the past number of months, there have been a significant upswing in the number of reports coming out of Iran.

In fact, in Iran we hear about multiple crash episodes, which, to be honest, I suspect, is more likely attributable to American activity in the skies over Iran.
