Hi, friends. I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of

the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories of Jesus Christ

life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. We've read

about three chapters a day all month long and that's how you do it to finish in 30 days. Obviously

February is a little different. So we're going to finish by the end of this month, by in 28 days.

So you've heard us read a few extra chapters here and there. We'll do it again these last couple

of days. And next month is so fun, y'all. We're going to be reading the new living translation

and we are reading in chronological order. So instead of three chapters a day, we're going to do

selections each day to read all four books in 30 days in the order in which the story happens. It

is a wild ride, you guys. So you're definitely going to want the reading plan so you can follow along.

You can listen or read along in your own Bible and then I'll pray and that's it. So today is

February 25th, day 25. And I'll be reading John chapters nine through 11 and the translation

I'm reading from this month is the ESV. John nine. As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.

And his disciples asked him, Rabbi, who sinned this man or his parents that he was born blind?

Jesus answered, it was not that this man sinned or his parents, but that the works of God

might be displayed in him. We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. Night

is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva.
