Hi, friends. I am Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles.

We've already read Matthew, Mark, and Luke, we are working our way through John normally this year.

We're going to read three chapters a day and finish in 30 days, so each month we'll read all four books.

But this month has been a little bit different, and we will be reading four chapters a lot of the days here this last week of the month to get through the book of John.

As we are turning the corner to March, we have released for you today the March reading plan and the March. Let's read the Gospels guidebook.

Next month we'll be reading the New Living Translation and, y'all get ready, we are reading in chronological order, so instead of three chapters a day,

we'll do selections each day to read all four books in 30 days in the order in which the stories happened.

It's going to be a wild ride, you guys. And just as we get to the end of the month, right as Easter and Holy Week are coming,

we'll spend a lot of time reading the last week of Jesus's life on earth as well. Y'all, it is going to be really interesting.

I cannot wait, I cannot wait. You definitely want the reading plan, so you can follow along since it won't just be three chapters a day.

And I will be reading John chapters five through eight and the translation I'm reading from this month is the ESV.

John five. After this, there was a feast of the Jews and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Now, they're in Jerusalem by the sheep gate, a pool and air may it called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades.

And these lay a multitude of invalids blind, lame and paralyzed. One man was there who had been an invalid for 38 years.
