We have some amended and updated information in the case of Samuel Whitmore, the man accused

of killing his wife and critically injuring his mother last week.

In Texas, police responded to a home after receiving a report about a person, having

difficulties breathing.

Upon arrival, they found a young woman extremely malnourished and dead.

And in New York, a man was arrested for murder after providing law enforcement with

a bizarre self-defense claim.

On Friday, we brought you the story of 34-year-old Samuel Whitmore, the man accused of

killing his wife and seriously injuring his mother in Belfast, Maine last Wednesday.

When we last left off, Samuel had been released from the hospital after being treated for

injuries he sustained in the alleged attack, and was then booked into the Kinnabit County Jail on a charge

of murder. As we stated, we'd bring an update if new information was released over the weekend,

and now we have some amendments to make as well as provide some new information regarding

the suspect and one of the victims in the case.
