and Chris has been immersed in that book stalking the herd for so many weeks that he's probably just exhausted.

I'm just glad that it's over.

Well, I have been forced in my life to do these production line computer books.

And I've done books of a thousand pages and more.

But you have not six months or 15 years to write one.

You have maybe six weeks at the most.

Oh, that's insanity.

There's a word for it, hellish.

I hope they paid you good.

Frankly, more than you get for a flying saucer or generic paranormal book.

Yeah.

But it's up in such a way that you'll never earn out.

What I mean by earn out, folks, is normally when you write a book, you get usually in advance against royalties.

And if the book exceeds that level, they start sending you money, like every month, every quarter, every six months.

Usually several months after they do their accounting.
