could reduce its military presence in Europe, while President Trump himself was having a chat

the focus of the conversation centers on Trump's makeover of the government.

Yesterday, the Trump administration laid off thousands of government employees in at least

six agencies in a new and more aggressive phase of its push to shrink the federal workforce.

The layoffs are expected to intensify in the coming days and weeks, according to officials

in the White House and across agencies, as additional agencies finalized workforce reduction plans.

Meanwhile, a series of voluntary departures in the Justice Department earned banner headlines yesterday for a whole different reason.
