Here is what's driving the day.

First up, some nomination news.

This morning, the U.S. Senate is expected to confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as Secretary of Health

and Human Services, putting the controversial environmental attorney and anti-vaccine activists in

charge of the nation's health agencies. Up next, the Senate Judiciary Committee will meet at 9 a.m.

to vote on whether to advance Casvertel's nomination to lead the FBI.

But driving a lot of focus on Capitol Hill today is the GOP's intra-party budget battle.

On Wednesday, Senate Republicans easily pushed their budget reconciliation bill out of committee,

taking the big first step toward an acting President Trump's massive domestic policy agenda

using a two-bill approach. Today, it's the House's turn. The House Budget Committee's fiscal

blueprint is slated to get marked up this morning starting at 10 a.m. But the House oath is a bit

less clear at the moment. as the Republican Conference has struggled,

the nice way to put it, to rally around a single bill encompassing an expensive amount of policy.

Meanwhile, at the White House today, we're watching a high-stakes meeting between President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Modi.
