A verdict is announced in the case of movie mogul, Harvey Weinstein.

In Louisiana, a woman is charged with murder and fetuside, following an alleged road rage

incident, which caused the death of a pregnant woman.

The suspect in the gruesome murder of a prominent Illinois lawyer has pled not guilty to all

charges.

Finally, a California couple is taken into custody on suspicion of killing three women during

a rental dispute.

On Monday morning, it was announced that a Manhattan jury has found media mogul, Harvey

Weinstein, guilty of third-degree rape and criminal sexual assault.

He was found not guilty on three remaining charges, including first-degree rape and predatory

sexual assault, a charge which involves assaulting more than one woman.

This marks the end of the first prosecution against Weinstein, although he is expected

to face additional charges in Los Angeles.

Weinstein was convicted of the 2013 third-degree rape of actress Jessica Mann and of committing

a criminal sexual act against Miriam Haley in 2006.

He faces a sentence of up to 29 years.

Harvey Weinstein was arrested two years ago and has been on bail ever since.

After the verdict was read, Weinstein's bond was revoked and he was taken into custody.
