TODAY'S EPISODE

Today’s guest is someone whose voice has accompanied so many of us through the highs and lows of life, through our teens, and now our careers. I’m speaking to broadcaster, author, and Happy Place founder, Fearne Cotton.

From landing her first presenting job at 15 to blowing up and being on every TV screen, Fearne’s career has been defined by energy, openness, and a constant willingness to evolve and take on the next project. But despite her huge success, she’s been on her own journey with identity, burnout, and figuring out who she is when the job title fades away, figuring out what success actually means to her.

As you know this podcast is about having conversations in a frank, open, way, that we don’t actually see that often, and this episode was exactly that. This episode is for anyone who feels like their self worth is tied to their career. Fearne speaks so openly about how she unhooked her self-worth from her work, why setting boundaries has been one of her biggest lessons, and what she’s learned about letting go of expectations.

0:29.7

as someone who always finds myself Googling MBA programs. First of all, King's Business School

0:38.1

business schools globally can claim. Second, it's a two-year part-time program, so you'll be learning

alongside a diverse group of professionals from fields like healthcare, consulting and law,

who all bring fresh perspectives. And third, it's in central London, right in the middle of one of the

0:51.7

most dynamic and connected cities in the world and where I happen to call my home. So whether you're looking to climb higher and corporate,

1:21.4

am thrilled about because I am genuinely obsessed with my loop earplugs. Ask literally anyone who received

1:26.0

a Christmas gift from me this year, because my thing is that I like to gift things that I'm obsessed with. And I gave, I think,

1:32.1

five different people, different variations of loop earplugs dependent on what I feel like would

1:36.4

improve their life. I keep a pair of looping gauge in my handbag, a pair of loop dream by my bed,

and also my travel wash bag, because if I forget that,
