Summary

This is a FC LIVE talk, but its my first for Jack on this platform, get used to it because there is more to come about EV's from him in the future. So, onto this talk, Jack spoke to a highly learned panel about scaling infrastructure for commercial EV's and I was joined by Imogen Pierce (of ARRIVAL, but has since started her own company), Ian Johnston (Osprey Charging), and Niall Riddell (Paua).

Hello all, Jack Scarlett here, fully charged resident car nerd and welcome to my very

not the most sexy topic in the entire world, I grant you, but an incredibly important one if this

whole electric revolution is going to happen in a big way. Joining me on the stage was image and

Hello, how are you guys doing? Thank you for being here today. This talk is called,

2:01.3

that's not the title of this talk. This talk is called the scalability of commercial EV infrastructure,

2:06.8

which if we're being brutally honest is probably not the sexiest title of a talk this weekend,

2:11.5

but it is a very important topic and a very interesting one. As I'm sure that you're all aware,

2:16.3

electric cars are kind of catching on these days, they're kind of a big deal, but one of the

2:21.0

ongoing gripes and one of the things that people often cite as their reason for not wanting to go

2:25.6

electric is the charger network. But what about commercial EVs? What about all these electric

2:32.0

lorries and buses that are popping up? Where are we charging those? And is the charging network for

2:37.6

them growing fast enough? I have no idea, but fortunately there are some people here who should have
