I'm your host to retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

You know, during this war in Israel between Israel and Hamas,

and let's make it clear that it is between Israel and Hamas and not the Palestinian people,

it has increased the threat on the U.S. homeland. And we might say to that,

duh, you know, really? Yeah, I think so, because when you think of it, it just makes all kinds of

sense that it would raise the level of threat to the U.S. homeland.

And one of the things to keep in mind is that we have had an open border for two and a half years.

And just this year alone, you see on the screen, 169 people from the terror watch list was

stopped at the southern border in 2023.

Where are these people now?

Do we know where they are?

I think not.

I don't think we do know where they are. So is that concerning to people,

United States citizens, that people are entering? Or southern border and may have ill ideas and ideas that are not consistent with being an American or helping this country,

but their aim is to hurt this country.

And yesterday, as you could see on the screen, Christopher Ray, the director of the FBI, he warned the Senate that the terrorism threat is highly

elevated during these times.

The FBI director, this is according to the New York Times, warned yesterday that Israel-Hamas war

had raised the potential for an attack against Americans to a new level and escalated threats

against Jews and Muslims in the United States.
