position preview series. I highly recommend you go back,

listen to those shows, if you haven't already. But there's still a ton of stuff to discuss.

We got teams finally taking the field for training camp practices this week. We got that trickle of news items and beat writer takes.

That's begun to flow here. And I said this on Monday on Twitter but it's the annual

reminder don't freak out about every rhodo world blurb you see coaches love every

player this time of year players think they're gonna have career years at this

point so you gotta be careful letting that stuff sway your outlooks you also

have to watch just taking beat writers opinions as as gospel. I mean, there are a lot

of outstanding beat reporters across the league, but there are many who aren't as good at their job.

So don't get caught up trust in the wrong source or even overvaluing one person's opinion on what

they're seeing. Check out all the beat writers from a team. See if they're all seeing the same stuff,

if they're all saying the same thing. And then don't go wild for practice highlights. They're just short glimpses of what's happening. It can be really good. It can be really bad. It shouldn't sway your opinion. So take it all in. It's all data points that you can use, but don't overreact to just any one aspect of it because I can lead to some

pretty bad decisions and trust me I'm saying that from experience we've all done it we learn

from it don't overreact to that stuff now on today's show we're talking about our favorite

late round players to target and we're doing it with a first time guest Kate Maghuk of

ball blast football.

She was tweeting about some of her favorite late-round name, so I figured we should get her on the show to share some of those insights with you.
