Today, Sarah and I are reflecting on our conversation with Valerie Elliott Shepard. And it was so awesome to have that conversation with her, Sarah. Sometimes these interviews, I'm like, can we just talk for three hours? And can we just keep talking? And I just loved our conversation with her.

1:49.2

And the grandkids at the funeral said their grandmother, Elizabeth Elliott,

1:55.1

always made sure they sang every verse of a hymn, too.

2:00.0

Yeah, because it's a whole thing. Yeah. So for this

2:04.7

reflection, we thought, oh, what a fun topic to talk about hymns and how hymns have played

2:12.4

such an important role in the church and in your and my lives, in our homes, in the culture of our homes.
