Okay, we are talking about heirloom vegetables today Kristi which really the sky's the limit

there's so many different things you can do I mean don't even get us started I guess

on peppers or tomatoes right because then that's that's a week's worth of episodes each

on just those varieties.

So of the things that are on your list this year what are the ones that you're the most

excited about that you think people would would get a lot out of growing?

Oh so hard it's like choosing a favorite child isn't it really?

I wouldn't know but maybe I will sometime.

So we're coming into the hot weather crops and that's really in you know there's so

many to choose from but I really love growing like let's start with cucumbers right

because there are some really interesting cucumber varieties out there and when you buy

them in the store you're limited to you know two or three maybe whatever four varieties

even at the farmers market but there's some really cool cucumbers that have potato skins

on them like punicira is one of my favorites it's an Indian cucumber that had looks like

a potato looks like a rest of potato and and it's it's so it's so weird because you

bite into it and it's a cucumber but it looks like a potato on the outside.

Weird yeah yeah I'm a big fan of lemon cucumbers which have become a lot more popular

now I love Armenian cucumbers those are fun Mexican sourgurkin cucumbers they are technically
