We've done quite a few episodes this week on fruit so we're gonna switch it up a little

bit.

It's spring, we're trying to get our vegetable garden started and especially if you're

in a small space, I think you'll enjoy this episode because we're talking about bio-intensive

gardening methods.

So, I definitely know the word intensive, right?

But when we add bio to it and we're talking about that as a method, what does that really mean?

How can we define that for the vegetable gardener?

Sure, bio-intensive gardening is an umbrella term for growing a lot of stuff in a little bit of

space and it focuses heavily on conditioning the soil so that it can support growing things

closer together and more intensively.

And there are a number of techniques out there that I've combined in my own gardening

that I, and I teach in my classes, combining what was started that started out as, but so

bio-dynamic is one, French intensive is another, and then those two were combined to form

grow bio-intensive, which is John Jevon's work, how to grow more vegetables than you ever
