Last time, on Venture Maidens.

Having finally reached the end of the Blossom Court trials, our heroes had a well-earned

conversation with the Green Lady. Through expert social maneuvering, our crew secured the favor

of the Blossom's sovereign, receiving her promise

that if a war were to break out between the courts, her people would stand against Takate's forces.

With their mission complete, the maidens headed home to the chicken hut and found an alarming

number of letters from Cassie and Frida begging them to meet in Coven as soon as possible.

Without missing a beat, they rushed to meet Cassie at the Witch's Brew to see what was up.

The Bard alerted them that the Eldron Empire was in turmoil,

since Melwyn Tavir had seized power after falsely accusing Sarina Soriel of being a traitor

and declaring her an enemy of the state.

And that's what happened.
