On this episode of the Dr. Tina show, I'm going to be talking to you about something that I believe is absolutely critical, highly neglected in the medical community, and something that is very likely impacting you

and your loved ones. And it is the subject of fatty liver. It has recently come to my attention

that the lead singer of Smashmouth has died as of today. He was in hospice. He was struggling

with fatty liver and alcoholism. And I knew immediately

when I heard that he was in hospice what was going on because I saw him, I think a year or so

ago, ranting fairly incoherently on stage and I think leaving stage

or getting booted off stage.

And he has always been kind of a portly guy,

but he's definitely gotten chubbier in the past few years.

And I say all that because that's one of the number one risk factors

And so when you combo that with alcohol and especially alcoholism and chronic alcohol use,
