who called us to live to a higher standard every day. To not be satisfied with just a little

religion in life, a shallow substitute for what God wants. As the series continues in the coming

weeks, we'll hear from family, friends, and others all influenced by Elizabeth's life and message.

Today we conclude our look at a legacy of love with the father's role in the family,

and then fathers and sons to wrap it up. Our guests are Steve McCulley, son of Ed McCulley,

one of the five who were killed in Operation Alka, as he talks about the reaction of people

to his story, about people who sent his mother gifts, and about the no-name families.

Valorys, my daughter, and they are the parents of a large family in California.

What is the subject you're going to discuss today, Valorys?

I think we want to talk about dealing with our children, whether I give my children the threat

that they're going to have to deal with their father when he comes home or whether I

spank and punish immediately. I do have a funny story though about quiet times. We believe in

having a quiet time after lunch, and that means that Colleen, Evangeline, and Jim, who are

eight, six, and ten respectively, have to entertain themselves by themselves.

And the two girls who are eight and six often question, you know, what are they allowed to do?
