Tonight on the show, we have a very special guest with a very interesting story to tell,

one story that she hasn't told publicly, so we're really honored to have Dr. Elena Michaels

on William Ramsey Investigates.

Dr. Elena, are you there?

Yes, I am, William.

Well, thank you very much for agreeing to this interview.

I really appreciate it.

I think you have a very fascinating tale-to-tail to tell.

Ms. Michaels was a member of an interesting alternative community in Los Angeles that has been

written about by a variety of different people, particularly Dave McGowan wrote about them.

And there was a very interesting documentary made about what was known as the Source

family.

And Dr. Elena Michaels was in the family and we'd just like to tell

have her tell her story. So Dr. Elena, could you give us a little bit of information about your

background? Sure. Well, I grew up in Ohio and I came to California after I finished my

undergraduate studies in Ohio,

and I was living in San Francisco, the San Francisco area.

That's where I met my husband, and the Hayd Ashbury, actually.

So were you there during the Summer of Love or that era?
