Hello, everyone, and welcome to another episode of Getting Hammered.

I am your host, Mary Katzen Ham. I'm here with my co-host back from Bayke, Vic Mattis of the Washington Free Beacon.

It has been a totally uneventful week while we've been out of town. So we're excited to touch back with you guys

about, you know, the nothing that's been happening. But before we do all of that, how's it

going? Hello, Mary, Catherine. Going well. I was looking forward to this week because that is, as I was just mentioning, the deadest week. Oh, yeah.

And something is the goodest week, really, of our year because it's, you know, no news happens. It's Fourth of July. Everybody goes home and yet. But we'll get to that in a little

bit. I was in Castine, Maine, which is on Pinaw Scott Bay. Oh, my gosh. My son and I visited a dear friend of ours, Jill Eastland, whose late husband was the great

Terry Eastland.

Oh, I'm so glad you got to see her.

Yes, and her daughter and son and the grandkids, lovely.

One of the things that we did when we were up there is we went down to Deer Isle and

then further down to stonington and there is

for the kids a touch tank it's called the discovery wharf and you know interactive so you could pick up

lobsters and they have the rubber bands and things like so it's all safe but while we were there the guide

really large fella like you know like you know like suspenders need fellow because, you know, the belly

hangs down.

Okay.

And real sort of like sun-wrinkled, grizzled, you know, from spending a lot of time at sea

as they are, as they do, a true mainer.

And then he began to explain about the do's and don'ts of when you're at sea here in that area and in general,

what they do, lobster, lobstering, scallops, things of that nature.

At which point, you know, he's going on and on, but kids then they start looking at the touch tank
