My entitled father-in-law overstepped his boundaries by trying to walk in in the middle of my wife giving birth.

But after turning him away and dealing with instances similar to this, my father-in-law decided to go on the attack by talking trash about me and my wife on Facebook, simply because we asked for some space while my wife was giving birth.

And I seriously can't believe the way this guy acted, and I really

hope I never have to deal with him ever again. Here's what happened. Okay, so this happened about

eight years ago when my wife and I had our firstborn child as a natural birth. My wife's

biological father wanted to be there and came like two weeks before the due date. He even got a place

within walking distance of our house, so he would randomly

show up to hang out with her, literally during her time at home on maternity leave as well.

Now, this wasn't every day, but it was often enough that it annoyed her as it was always without

warning. He also asked her a few times to go and drive him to the bottle shop, just so we could

stock up on booze. She ended up being a few weeks late,

and he seemed to blame us for that just a little bit. Then when the day came and we went to the

hospital, we got there at 7 and our daughter was born at 10. He then appeared at the door at 1015,

trying to get in while we were still sorting things out. Like my wife did just give birth after

all. He then came back later when it finally

calmed down and it was fine. Fast forward a week and he was still staying nearby. My wife was

struggling with breastfeeding. So we had an in-house consultation with a midwife to come over and

see if they could help us through this time. Well, five minutes into this, we hear a knock of the

door and at this point I lost my cool with him.

I went out to the front and I basically asked him, do you ever call first?

When I said that, he apologized and then he went home.

And I really do feel pretty awful about that, but it was a stressful time, especially with someone
