where I didn't bother to write an intro for today. It's me, your man, M.G. Marcus Grant, joined by Michael F. Florio, and Laquan Jones. And, okay, I just want to start here. I just want to say, like, I'm sorry. Yeah, yeah, let's go. Bring it out. No, I'm being genuine. I'm being sincere. Like, I know we've given you a hard time on this show and generally in the office about being an England football supporter and, uh, and that sort of thing. But like you guys got close to a, like it's, it's hard. It is legitimately a hard thing to watch your team lose in a championship game. So like, yeah, I mean, it's all fun in games. we're going to, you know, give you hell in the text chat. Like, it's just going to game. So, like, yeah, I mean, it's all fun in games.

But, like, I legitimately feel sorry for you. It was a tough weekend for you, for sure. It's okay. It's okay. Like, a lot of my friends were, you know, checking on on me. And I had some, like, team comps as well.

And then I saw one yesterday.

It was like, England's basically the 49ers.

They can't get it done. Yeah. So I heard some really great comps to teams. And I was like 49ers. That's interesting. I'll take that. Doesn't that make you feel better? That's the little counter punch I got for you, Marcus, that's all that is. Because the one I saw, the one I saw was that the the england is like the nix of

international soccer right so like yeah the nicks are just in their own business

it's all sort of 49ers like what look we got the new york jets no shout out the jack and the

recharge department he was like they're basically the new york jets and i this is somewhat. So the Jets don't even sniff a championship. Yeah, the Jets don't get close to the championship opportunities. But their last relevant championships were in the 60s. That was his point. So I'm like, yeah. All right. There's so many good comps. How do you invent the sport and not win it since the 60s? I don't know, ask the Canadians in hockey, right?

America started basketball, and right now it looks like we're sitting pretty for gold in there. There you go. I mean, America lost in the gold medal. We're like, you know what? We're like, screw it. We're done with the college guys. We need to send a product out there. Let's send the greatest collection of basketball talent of all time and show people what's up with that. Yeah. Oh, man. All right. Well, it's good that all of our teams caught strays this weekend. so that's cool

I want everybody else to feel it. And everybody else, yeah, sort of got, you know, got an elbow in the side because of it. We are starting our division previews. We're going to go through each of the eight divisions over our next few shows and kind of break down the teams, what we expect for them fantasy-wise. Today is the AFC West. I figured we'd start here because it is the division that also is home to the two-time defending champions against the city chiefs, so it felt like a good place to start. In the meantime, though, I want to start with a couple of, I guess, news and rumors is sort of the way we're describing because it's not actually news. It's sort of rumorish. I don't know. We'll start with James Connor. And we talked about James Connor on the show last week because the reports were he was still going to get the bulk of the work, which I don't think surprised really anybody.
